LONG time Sifter and Maestro di Geeko gorgonheap finally got his diamond, ladies and germs, and boy are my arms tired!

Tough crowd. Moving along, when I say LONG time, I mean he's been here since June of 2006, just a few short months after VS was violently birthed from its mutant-alien uterus. (So I have issues; tell me something I don't know.) I think the Mexican-American War was still being fought then, and dag was going through that awkward phase of his parents catching him downloading porn. Needless to say, gorgonheap is part of the Old Guard, but one of the good ones who doesn't always talk about the "good old days," like when a video only needed 4 votes to escape queue, or that they didn't have all these fancy new channels, and kids knew how to talk to their elders, and there wasn't a cure for smallpox, etc. So he's alright in my book.

Seriously, what would we do without this dude? He gave us took over the Geek channel - the 3rd most popular channel here. It's an indispensable part of the Sift. And have any of you noticed all the kick-ass indie music he posts, or his love of the greatest show in the history of history, Mystery Science Theater 3000? If not, then get your mouse over to his PQ, pronto.

I also get a kick out of this guy. He writes some of the funniest and/or wittiest comments here, and anyone who can make me laugh out loud is a righteous fellow. His serious comments are also worth reading, because they are often quite thoughtful. Even though he and I often see issues differently, I still respect what he has to say because he says it so well that he actually makes me think at times. Wait, I hate thinking. NOW I remember why he's the most reviled creature in the galaxy.

So give it up for gorgonheap, or else he'll mount your carbonite-frozen ass on the wall as a decoration.
